Alfa Romeo Disco Folante is a race car concept produced in the year 1952-1953. Also known as the Alfa Romeo 1900 C52 car is equipped with a capacity of 1997 cc engine mated to a 4 speed manual transmission is capable of producing power to 158 bhp (118 kW).
Through the power output combined with a highly aerodynamic body tube, this car can run up to speeds of 140 mph or 220 km / h.
Now in 2012 Alfa Romeo Disco Folante comes back into a supercar with a touch more stylish, sophisticated and modern. Using a steel chassis, double wishbone suspension and most importantly, supported by a special engine 4.7-liter capacity to be able to present a power of 450 PS with torque of 470 Nm (346.6 lb-ft).
Large power generated by the V8 engine is sent to the rear wheels via a semi-automatic transmission 6 speed and is able to bring new cars to run up to speeds of 181 mph (291 km / h).
